Nordic Chocolate is classified as both ‘free from’ and functional food. We manufacture handmade organic chocolate free from soy, milk, gluten, and nuts. The flavorings consist of berries and medicinal plants from the Arctic zone. The chocolate is packaged in cellulose from potatoes and beets instead of plastic, and the outer packaging is made of recycled paper.

Proximity to pure nature and sustainable innovation. The berries and plants we use contain higher levels of antioxidants than their European counterparts, thanks to the unique midnight sun in northern Sweden. This gives the berries both a more intense flavor and higher nutritional content. We also obtain berries that grow only in the Arctic zone, such as cloudberries. The chocolate factory has developed the world’s first sustainable freeze dryer to dry the berries with a smaller climate footprint than similar dryers on the market.
